BIO

I’m Tim Stevenson, a retired Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer and worked for GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH for 41yrs. Born in Virginia and attended Virginia Tech then University of Cincinnati after moving to Cincy.

Got my start in astrophotography with a stock and then an astro modified Canon EOS Rp camera on a SkyWatcher 12” DOB back in the summer of 2021. Utilized a friend’s farm who gave me free reign of his shop to setup my telescope in a Bortle Class 4 sky. In May of 2024 moved to Piedmont, SC, and joined the RMA club. Starting in 2026, I’ll serve as the club Secretary.
