Speaker:

Tom Moors is a photographer and engineer based in Greenville, SC with a love for photographing adventurous landscapes and active people!  Tom was born in Minnesota and studied to become a Metallurgical Engineer where he takes various photos of metals on a daily basis.  When he is free to get outside Tom seeks out adventurous locations to create photographs for print, stock, editorial assignments, environmental portraits, and tourism campaigns.  Tom has served as Artist in Residence for South Carolina State Parks for three years and leads photography workshop adventures in his local Blue Ridge Mountains and around the world.  His adventurous landscapes and night sky images have won Best in Show awards from the Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition, the South Carolina Wildlife Photo Contest, and Western North Carolina Photo Contest. Tom's images have been featured in Men's Journal, Our State Magazine, and WNC Magazine as well as in advertising campaigns for Brevard North Carolina, Akaso action cameras, and Diamond Brand Gear backpacks and tents.
