Josh Palmer

About the Photographer:  Josh has been a member of the RMA since 2015, after moving from the suburban lights to rural Greenville County.  He specializes in high speed Solar System photography, including Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and the Moon. His images were created with Celestron 9.25" and 11" Schmidt–Cassegrain telescopes (Alt-Azimuth mounts), ZWO ASI224MC and ASI290MM cameras, and various software tools, from his back porch. Some Lunar and Deep Sky photos were captured with a Sony A57 APS-C SLT camera. He's happy to assist others learn more about the process of high speed imaging.
