    Hi Kyle,

Welcome to the club.  As far as my new astrophotography setup, the right answer varies widely depending on the individual.  In my case I wanted a very portable setup to take deep sky objects.  My setup consists of the following:

    Stellarvue 70mm Refractor:  $1200

    Stellarvue 0.8 Reducer/Flattener: $250

Sky Watcher Adven GTI Mount: $609

    Apertura Mount Head Bag:  $60

    ZWO ASIAIR Plus Controller:  $314

    ZWO ASI2600MC Color Camera :  $1349

    ZWO Elec. Auto. Focuser:  $179

    ZWO TC40 Tripod:  $$314

    Bluetti Power Station:  $190

    __________________________________

                            Total:       $4465

Stellarvue no longer makes the telescope that I have, but a very good substitute might be the ZWO FF65-APO which sells for $764.  ZWO also makes a 0.75 Reducer which makes the system a f 4.8 one (fast) for $212.

So I’m just getting started and still learning.  You might pose your question to another club member that I have found to be very helpful, Mark Stanford.  If you prefer planetary photography, your setup might be quite different.  I’m attaching my best effort to date, Andromeda Galaxy.

I’ve had this telescope for about 15 years,  so it shows some cosmetic signs of use, but otherwise is fully functional.  Now I’m trying to become an astrophotographer, so I’m giving this scope up.  I’m including:

    1. Scope and go to mount
    2. Padded Celestron carrying case
    3. Tripod that came with the unit
    4. Two Celestron Plossl eyepieces:  17mm and 6mm
    5. Celestron Barlow adapter
    6. Telrad finder and mounting shoe
    7. Celestron Sky Sync  module that provides geo and time info to the go to unit
    8. Two Celestron Wi Fi plug ins to allow smart phone to drive the unit
    9. Celestron 1.25” red and blu filters
    10. Celestron Observers Accessory Kit hard case to hold eyepieces, etc.
